I have a lite2LJ heater in operation at this time. It controls the pump operation as well as heating the pool. I want to know if the legacy 400,000 will do the same thing.

Hello, Louis. The other Jandy Heater's do not offer that technology. The Pentair Heat Pump UltraTemp 140,000 BTU (Almond) - 460934 does offer the AutoSet (time clock over-ride) feature monitors water temperature and turns the water circulation pump on and off as needed to maintain desired pool temperatures.
