AquaLogic settings

I just replaced the board (GLXPCBMAIN (GOLGLX-PCB-MAIN) - PCB Circuit Board AquaLogic Version 2.6) and I am trying to get back to the automatd settings I had before the board burnt out.

I have a 16500 gallon salt pool, with Hayward equipment.

I have a 2 speed (Hi/Lo) pump. IWhat I would like (and what was there before) is that when the pump turns on, it is in High mode.  I hit the filter button again and it starts counts down to low setting.  Low setting is where the pool is for 23:45 hours a day. Bumps up automatically for 15 min just before midnight, then drops down again.

I can’t seems to figure out how to get this done?

There are so many options, I don’t know which option goes with what!? Would it be easier to call?

Thanks for the help

Hi BobMadrid,

Page 10 and 11 of the AquaLogic Owner’s Manual explains how to set the turning on of a dual speed pump in hi speed and low speed. If this does not help then give us a call at 1-877-372-6038 and ask Rob, Alex or Joe and they can help you out.

Thank You

I have an aqua logic system.  I just replaced the motor in my system (Patrick helped me find the right motor - thanks again) and I am setting the heater and filter run times.   When I originally flip the breakers for the motor, it comes on but I cannot turn off the filter/motor through the control pad.  When I press the filter button, the filter and heater light come on and when I press the filter button again, the lights go out but the filter/motor continues to run.  When the clock reaches the designated time to turn off the filter, it just keeps running.  The only way I can turn off the filter/motor is to turn off the breaker which also turns off the heater which then needs to be reprogramed each time I turn on the filter/motor with the breaker. The heater is coming on and functioning according to the settings when the filter/motor are on. The top light and botton says pool and a separate light for spa.  I do not have a spa so it runs in Pool only mode.  It seems like something is totally overiding the filter so that it will not turn off with the timer nor when the filter/heater button is pushed.  I have the entire manual, but I am not finding any answers.   Any help would be appreciated.

Just to add to my posting.  I am reading about the possibility of fused contacts on the relay.  Could this be the problem with the filter not turning off and how would I go about fixing it?  Thanks.  John

Hi John2016,

From what you are explaining it sounds to me as you have a bad AquaLogic Relay here is a really good Video on Troubleshooting an AquaLogic System (however the narration is horrible =) I would try all the tests in the video and the relay test is at about the 30 mark. You will need a multimeter to do the tests, if you don’t have one you should be able to pick one up at local hardware store for under $20 and they are handy to have around the home.

Please report back on what you find out.

Thank You

Patrick
