Pool light replacement

I have two PUREX 10510 lights (1 in the pool and 1 in the spa). Neither worked due to water ingress. Although this is an old obsolete light your website allowed me to order a new gasket. However 1 light is not repairable. I am happy to replace it myself but I would appreciate if you could help me to identify a suitable replacement that will fit in the same can.

Thank you

Hi Adam,

The Purex light is obsolete but it can be replaced by one of these Complete Pentair Amerilite Pool Lights I hope this helps!

Patrick

thank you that’s awesome!

Adam

Patrick

will the Amerlites fit in the same opening as the PUREX? I just want to be certain as the lens is listed as 8 3/8” where’s the PUREX was only 3 1/4”.

thanks for your help

Adam

Hi Adam,

Would it be possible to post a few photos of your light. Also please check to see if they match the dimension of this Pentair Spa Brite

Hi Patrick

i make it 5 1/2” diameter and 4 1/2” long. Please see photos.

it is a spa light so that pentair spa bright looks damn close!

Hi Adam,

You have a Purex Sunlite which you may view here - Purex Sunlite Parts Diagram Unfortunately that light has been discontinued. In a previous Forum Post about the Sunlite Light we spoke to Pentair and they said that their Intellibrite Color Changing Spa Light or their Spa Brite would work as a replacement. It looks like currently, the Spa Brite is only available in 12V and not 120V and the Intellibrite is available in 120V. I believe from your photos you have 120V. If you wanted to go to 12V you could add a transformer. Below are your 2 Options.
