LOVE this solar pool cover! It works so much better than the blue ones we've had in the past. It's thicker and a much better quality, and it really heats the water up perfectly. Very fast shipping, too! Highly recommend.

Q:	What is the benefit of the clear solar blanket over the blue one?
A:	First, the clear solar blanket is thicker than the blue; the clear is 12 mil thick while the blue is 8 mil. Secondly, the clear allows the sun to pass through the blanket thus heating the water better. The blue blanket tends to absorb the heat itself so the blanket gets hot, not the water. Lastly, the clear blanket has a 5 year warranty as opposed to the 3 year warranty for the blue.
Q:	Are the edges on the custom solar blankets finished in any way?
A:	No, the manufacturer does not finish or heat seal the edges on custom sized solar blankets.
