Warranty Policy

 

  • Products available on INYO’s website are warranted through the manufacture, a warranty claim past the 30 day after purchase window must be handled through the manufacturer directly.
  • If a warranty request is older than 30 days (60 Days for pump motors) from the delivery of the product & the manufacturer requires that the warranty process go through the Dealer (i.e. Inyo), then:
    • It is the responsibility of the customer to cover the shipping charges in the event that the manufacturer requires that an item be sent back for warranty inspection.
    • It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the shipping on a warranty replacement. Inyo will require a credit card authorization for the shipping charges when the warranty request is made. Inyo will void the credit card authorization for the replacement shipping charges if the warranty request is denied by the manufacturer.
  • The terms & conditions of a warranty can vary from product to product. Please consult with either the manufacture or the manufacturer’s website for the specific terms & conditions of your item. In some cases a manufacturer will only accept a product exchange and will not allow a return for credit, in some instances the manufacture will only refurbish the item but not replace it as a whole.
  • Original shipping fees are not covered under warranty
  • If factory inspection is required for a warranty claim, it is the responsibility of the consumer for any and all freight charges.
  • Modifying an item from its original condition may void the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Use of a product for an unintended purpose or improper installation may also void the manufacturer’s warranty
  • During the claims process, if the manufacturer has deemed the claim valid but states they are unable to complete the process “manufacturer to customer”, the consumer must notify INYO with the name and extension of the manufacture representative they spoke with, for verification of claim approval; also you may be asked to include any written correspondence.
  • Items shipped outside of the U.S. may not be covered under warranty. (Please contact either manufacture or consult the manufacturer’s website).
