No, the solar cover does not come with an overlap. A solar cover is designed to sit on top of the water's surface and fits on the inside perimeter of the pool wall.

LOVE this solar pool cover! It works so much better than the blue ones we've had in the past. It's thicker and a much better quality, and it really heats the water up perfectly. Very fast shipping, too! Highly recommend.

shipped in two days by ground. good price. love the clear vinyl cover, never gets warm in the hottest sun. should last a long time. i roll it up it in the pool and let it float around when i'm in it myself. with it cut in half the long ways its much easier to roll up. when grand kids come over i'll take it out.

Very glad I bought the solar blanket. It does extend swimming season by heating the pool water. It also reduces evaporation.
