We are trying to find a filter for our Hayward pool pump. The number on the filter is
CC15093S but we can't find anything compatible. It is 23 1\4 inches tall, center hole is 4", and is 9" around. Any help would be great.

Julie, The model number provided is the Hayward 150 sq ft XStream filter. This cartridge would be the generic replacement.

I have a SW175MDDVPAKS model Voyager Swimpro - it appears it came with a ccx1750, but I'm inclined to use the ccx1500 compatible cartridge. Are these the same physical size? I understand there is less filtering area.

Hi Nate, All you stated is correct. Yes this PL0132 will work as a replacement cartridge for your SW175MDDVPAKS and will give you slight less filtering area than your 175 cartridge but not by much. I would suggest the PL0132 for you.

Shut off pump
Open pressure valve on top
Close inlet and outlet valves
Open drain plug
When drained, remove filter cover by squeezing lock tabs on cover locking ring and turning
Remove filter
Clean any residue on bottom and sides
Replace filter
Replace cover and tighten down till ring clicks
Replace drain plug
Open inlet and outlet valves
Turn on pump
Close top relief valve when you have steady stream.

I have purchased 2 of these PLO 132 cartridges as substitutes for Hayward. They are holding up well. They are easily cleaned. The savings is significant with pool products so very expensive over the past 3 years.
