Is it possible to get an in ground stairs for a pool that does not have a level landing? The pool is sloped toward the center and is round with a liner.
All of our stairs and ladders are made for level pools. While it is still possible to use our ladders and stairs they will not be as stable as if there was a level pool.
How tall is the deluxe step pad?
This pool pad has no height to it, as it is a pad, like a sheet. The dimensions are 3'6" long by 5' wide. It is designed to be sandwiched in between the liner and the in-pool step or ladder, so it is very thin so as to not impede use of the steps or ladder.
I purchased the Wedding Cake steps. When I tried to install them today, the wall on the side of my pool is slanted up with sand underneath the liner causing issues. Will a step pad help this situation?
I do not think the step pad would do anything to remedy this, as the step pad is typically used to prevent chafing between the liner and bottom of the steps. I just spoke with Lumio, and they suggested trying to reposition the deck braces, as there is a small space that's designed to be in between the wall and the step.
The pad has a tendency to float. When placed in the pool it floats at the top of the water. When placed under the steps, the edges float up around the step. Is this normal for operation?
Since there is some air inside the pad, it will have a tendency to float. This will usually reduce after the pad has been in the water for a while.
Does the liner pad fit "as-is" or will it need to be cut accordingly?
You can do either. The pad is 3' x 5', so it can be used for most all of our steps. However, it does not exactly match the dimensions of all of our steps and therefore could be cut accordingly to the size you need.
Why is the pad so big? How does it fit on the 5602 steps
This pad is designed to fit underneath the entire step back to the pool wall.
What are the pads made out of? Are they like a foam or plastic?
The pads are made out of a foam material.
Does the smooth side go up or down under the stairs?
Smooth side goes face up, so the rough side will be contacting the pool surface and prevent the pad from slipping.
How thick is the pad?
This stair pad is approximately 1/8" thick

After finding difficult for my elderly mother and my wife to entering and exiting the pool with the original later what was supply from the pool company, i look for a wider step later that can be user friendly to get access to the rap around deck.
The step ladder ended be more easy to pace and remove that the current one, because the air trap inside can easily escape from the perforate floor, creating almost a weight less later at the moment to re-position anchoring to the deck, also this characteristic help the water circulation, and prevent of death circulation zone, there algae can grow, feature i confirm after 6 months when i remove it before closing the pool for the winter season.
Highly recommended, i saw also the supplier have spare parts that can purchased individual, in case any component fail during the life of the step ladder.
Pro: Solid fell robust, easy to install and place in to the pool, came with rubber support for the areas that be in contact to the pool liner. Well package to prevent damage during transportation.

Pros: Does protect liner
Cons: Does not stay flush with bottom of pool and floats up around the edges.
I have wedding cake steps for my above ground pool. I bought this pad to protect the liner underneath. I don't think it was necessary to purchase this. It does not stay flush with the bottom of the pool and the edges that overlap the steps float up. Probably an unnecessary buy...

Pros: good quality
Cons: not really made to easily install under ladder
Very good material. I purchased it to go under the ladder in my oval above ground pool so i had to cut it smaller and glue it to the bottom.
