What is the resistance (ohms) across primarys? It should be between 40 and 50 ohms. I purchased a transformer from another company and it tested below 26 ohms. So I want a verify specs before purchase. Thank you.

Hello Danny. I contacted Balboa and the representative informed me the resistance is 40-45 ohms for the 9 Pin 120 Volt Balboa Transformer For 120 Volt Duplex Systems.

Make sure all power is off.
1. Open spa pack cover and locate transformer unscrew two mounting screws and pull 9 pin plug from socket and remove.
2. Put new transformer back in place mount 2 screws and plug 9 pin plug into socket on circuit board
3. Turn on power if left, it works, problem solved! If not you may have a circuit board problem. Now the big money starts. Hope not.
