Im looking for a 2" PVS Schedule 40 union/fitting that will allow me to replace my pool pump and pump housing without having to cut the PVC and couple new pipe threads together. Is this Pump Union what I need? Will it fit on 2" Male NPT connections that come with my new pump? It looks like it will but I want to make sure first. Thanks, Ed

Hi, Ed. This union will not work because it does not have NPT, it is FBT (Female Buttress Threads). You can use the 2" MPT x 2" SLIP Full Union - 200-906.
