is this the same as your part 5056-05, meaning does it upgrade to 1998-present with no copper insert?

rec'd my seal plate last week. ready to assemble all parts today. inspected plate before install and it is visibly evident the hole for the seal is off center . i fear install of seal can not compensate for the off center boring of the hole. will try to add pictures. NOW WHAT?

Removed motor and pump. Seal plate had eroded and the seal had seized to motor shaft and motor subjected to H2O.
