I put the leaf rake on the end of a long pole, & every day I tried to get all the debris off the surface & bottom of the pool. When the bag got full, I'd turn it inside out to empty it. The bag was not good at picking up pine needles, and the metal end piece broke before the summer was over. I had to buy a replacement.

(5 out of 5 stars) ALUMINUM LEAF RAKE

High quality net/rake. I had a storm blow lots of debris in the pool. This rake scooped it out in no time. I loaded it up enough to bend my aluminum pole, but the rake suffered no damage.

great leaf rake for a good price. These things only last for so long. Eventually, the aluminum gets a bit brittle and after bending it back for yet another time it will eventually break. To be expected, though and good to have a spare one at hand.

This was perfect since our pool is surrounded by fruit trees. It prevented a lot of vacuuming, saving us time which is priceless!

(2 out of 5 stars) Premium Leaf Rake

Don't be fooled by the "Premium" as this the Premium Leaf Rake is far from premium. It works okay for skimming leaves from the surface but is inadequate for picking up leaves from the bottom of the pool. It is flimsy and flexes when you slide it across the bottom of the pool. Also, the leading edge is angled incorrectly so the leaves and debris slide under the edge and go under basket instead of into the basket.

I have been changing a leaf rake pretty much at the end of every summer. Most get broken around the seams or the nets gets out of the seam or the net gets big holes.. this one thus far survived a summer without any major issues. The net got small holes in 2-3 areas. Since it is made of some type of high quality fabric ( non- nylon) material, i saw them before they got bigger. Will write another review if it survives the second summer next year!

Pros: well made construction
Cons: none
My third leaf rake, and appears to be the best one yet! Construction better than any I have seen. I will be surprised if it doesn't turn out to be the longest lasting leaf rahe by far!
