Good day, to change the battery in the Volt alert Voltage Detector, Range 24-90vac, Type 1LAC-A (83F2778) you would simply twist the back cap above the clip to remove and access the batteries.

Hi Luis, to replace the batteries just twist off the front tip as demonstrated in this How To Replace The Battery In A Voltalert Meter video.
