Hello James, This part is a direct fit for the Jandy Legacy Model LRZE Heater. The coupling nut is threaded and will screw on to attach to the inlet.

It appears that I am going to have to replace my I/O Header p/n R0470800. I need the install instructions for this to see if I can do it or do I need to get a Jandy Tech. I bought the heater from INYO 5 years ago. The PRV valve was leaking and I had to remove it. the Inside threads are all damaged and I cannot install the new PRV without it leaking significantly.

Hello Ernie. Jandy has not published a tutorial for replacing the header on the Jandy Pro Series legacy Pool and Spa Heater as such. Attached please find a copy of the Installation and Operation Manual for the Legacy Heater. Legacy™ Pool and Spa Heater Section 5 - Water Connections, specifically section 5.4 - Reversible Water Connections (page 16) identifies the procedure for reversing the header. A step-by-step process for replacing the header can be extrapolated from these instructions.
