Just installed my compete 72730 pump as a replacement. However the outer threads on the pump housing would not thread onto my existing hose, so I ended up using the pump husing inner threads and used a smaller hose.
Is this normal?

Edward, Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not make a union that fits the outer male threads. To install, you would use the female threads on the housing.

does this fit a splapool model 72730 pump and motor assembly.

Hi James, the pump housing part number for the pump model 72730 is manufacturer part number AC81884 which we, unfortunately, do not carry.
