how do I set it to cooling. it only reads heat

Hi Robert, this heat pump is part of a series that only adds heat to a pool. For a heat pump that can both heat or cool your pool, you need to look at a unit in the Ice Breaker/ Heater series like: AquaCal Ice Breaker SuperQuiet Heat Pump Heat Cool 139,000 BTU's.

Hi, Frankie. Heat Pumps generally last 10 years on average and is the most efficient way to heat a pool versus gas.

I need to replumb the 2.5" threaded coupling (female) on both return/supply side of the PVC pipes going to my SQ155. The original ones on there are made by C&S Plastic. Do you sell replacement?

Pros: Very quiet and efficient

Cons: Takes up alot of space

The AquaCal HeatWave heat pump has performed as advertised. It is super quiet. My installer commented that he had never seen a pool heat pump that was this quiet. He was very impressed.

Pros: Easy installation,Quality Workmanship

Cons: Large unit

Unit did exactly what it was supposed to do.Turned on the power,recognized flow and started. This unit is definetly super quiet.Pool Pump makes more noise.Well labeled connections and several wiring inlet options.This unit was recently installed and cannot reply on power usage.

The unit was shipped from Florida with not a dent in the box.Nice to see handling like this with a large piece.Installed unit and it started and perfomed as the manual stated.The pool pump is louder than the Heat Pump.If your looking to heat your pool fast go with gas.Cannot review perfomance or reliability unit was installed 4\25\10
