PURELINE MESH WINTER COVERS FOR INGROUND POOLS
Our PureLine rugged mesh cover makes spring clean-up a snap. The secret to this unique cover is the tightly woven scrim that holds together insuring that no gaps or holes develop. Rugged mesh allows only rain water and very fine silt to pass through. Since the cover is made of mesh that is very lightweight, simply lift it off in the spring. No heavy water to lift off or time-consuming cover pumping. Simply remove the mesh cover, vacuum up the fine silt and open your pool.
The fine mesh allows rain and snow to slowly fill your pool, saving water and chemicals in the spring. Since our scrim is tightly woven, the cover allows almost no sunlight through and ensures an algae-free pool in the spring. PureLine mesh covers are made from tough U.V. protected woven polyethylene that is strong enough to handle ice, snow, sleet and high winds. Rugged double stitched seams are triple reinforced for strength and the cover's black underside slows algae growth. All PureLine mesh covers have a 5' overlap to handle winters worst.
All PureLine mesh covers have a 5' overlap with loops every four feet to secure water bags. Corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. Backed by an 8-year warranty.

1. DOES THIS COVER LET WATER PASS THROUGH? 2. HOW MANY AND WHAT SIZE WATER TUBES WOULD BE NEEDED TO HOLD DOWN? THANKS
Yes, these covers allow water to pass through them. You would need 10 - 10-foot water tubes & 1 - 8-foot water tube. You can click here to view your options as far as single or double water tubes.
My pool is 8×10 would this be to big? Can be cut down?
Hi, Dave. Yes, this cover will be too big, it cannot but cut down. The cover will be ruined if you cut it.
My pool is 14' wide and 30' long, would a 16' wide and 32' long winter cover work?
Hi, Mike. The Actual size of this cover is 21 x 37 ft., so yes, it will work for your pool.
Does the winter mesh cover stop water evaporation?
Hello Randy, Evaporation is increased by high wind speeds, high air temperatures, low relative humidity, and high water temperature. You can use a mesh cover to help with this, but I would recommend adding a Natural Chemistry COVER FREE 32 Oz - 07100 which decreases evaporation up to 85%. There is also adding a small fountain to help cool the water if water temperatures get too high.
Does a mesh cover need to be the exact size of the pool. Our pool is 30 x 14 and I don't see that size.
Hello Barbara, the cover does not need to be the exact size of the pool. You would prefer to have it larger in order to cover the pool and some of your deck preventing anything to fall into the pool.
How many tubes does this cover need?
Based on the charts we have, your 16' X 32' Rectangle would require 10 - 10' & 1 - 8'.
Are there four tie down groomettes on each corner to secure this cover?
Hi Monica, The 16' x 32' Rect. 8yr I/G Mesh Winter Cover has loops every 4 ft and grommets at each corner.
This will be my first time winterizing a swimming pool and I need a cover. What's the difference between the solid winter cover and a mesh winter cover?
Both solid and mesh winter covers are very durable and come in different strengths. You will need to use winter cover pump to remove water from the solid winter cover during the off season. The solid cover does not allow light through it which can help prevent algae growth during the winter. A mesh cover offers you the same features as the solid with the exception that it allows waster to drain through the cover. A mesh cover also allows sunlight through which contributes to algae growth. You will not need a cover pump if purchasing a mesh winter cover. Both winter covers are held in place with Aqua blocks or water tubes.
Less than 1 hr
The mesh cover is easy to pull off and empty and the water underneath is kept free of large objects except water. I expect the next opening of the pool in 2019 will be a lot easier than this past season.
