PureLine K2 Series Pool Winter Cover for Inground Pools - 15 Year Warranty (2 Yr. Full) - Forest Green Color
The PureLine K2 series winter cover is our mid-priced cover which has all of the strength and durability to insure years of winter protection. Heavier woven polyethylene scrim and coating make our K2 cover strong and able to withstand wind, sleet and snow. The K2 cover is U.V. stabilized to protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. It features a black underside to retard algae growth and heat sealed seams to insure a crystal clear pool next spring.
The PureLine K2 cover comes with loops every four feet to secure water bags and corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. The cover is 5 feet longer and wider than the pool size and it is backed by a 15 year warranty (2 years full rated).
STRONG, LONG-LASTING WOVEN STRANDS
The strength of a winter cover determined by the weight, or "denier", of the individual stands. PureLine strands are 50% stronger than competition.
NO MORE ALGAE GROWTH!
PureLine covers are constructed of an extremely tight weave fabric that does not allow light to pass through. Without sunlight, algae cannot grow!

Where are grommets placed?
Hi Jack, this cover has loops coming off the side of the cover and water tubes go through those loops. There is a grommet on each of the corners of the cover and those metal grommets can be used to tie the cover down with rope.
Hello, My in ground pool is not a rectangle shape. Is kind of curve. How do I measure for a winter cover
Hello, we actually have a "how to"guide on measurements for pool covers.
I have a rectangular 20X40 pool. My pool steps make the pool 20X44. What size pool cover do I need and how may water bags?
Hi James, The PureLine Winter Pool Cover 20' x 44' Rect I/G (PL8954) is the cover that will cover your pool along with the steps. You will also need about 12 10 ft. Water Tubes.
The actual size of my pool is 17 x 36. It has side left steps 4 x 8, thus making the size of a rectangular cover as 21 x 36. Is it so that the overlap will be advised by you and the actual cover size will be automatically increased, say by 5 ft making it 26 x 41 ? Which cover would you advise to buy with 10-12 year warranty? Dr. Boris Mintsertis
Hi Boris, This 20' x 40' Rect I/G Winter Pool Cover will provide adequate coverage for you size pool.
Does this cover come with everything needed to install it? Thank you
Hello Angela - This is a cover only. The water tubes are sold separately.
Can you mail me samples of the 8,15 and 20 year in ground winter covers?
Unfortunately the manufacturer does not supply samples of those particular winter covers. We can only supply samples of the safety covers.
What’s the difference between a winter cover and a safety cover?
Safety covers are used in conjunction with anchors to lock them into place over your pool to prevent people and animals from falling into the pool. Winter covers are kept in place with water tubes and do not lock into place. They DO NOT prevent accidents. Both products will keep leaves and debris out of the pool during the winter season.

Pros: Lightweight but strong
This is a great economical winter cover. Most pool owners realize that it will not last 15 years in severe weather areas like where we live (lots of snow and ice)so if you buy it with that understanding, you will be satisfied. We used our last one for three seasons then replaced it with the same cover. We used to buy a cover for around $650 which lasted 7 to 9 years but it was getting too heavy to handle. This one is very lightweight for the size and strength.
