The PureLine K2 series winter cover is our mid-priced cover which has all of the strength and durability to insure years of winter protection. Heavier woven polyethylene scrim and coating make our K2 cover strong and able to withstand wind, sleet and snow. The K2 cover is U.V. stabilized to protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. It features a black underside to retard algae growth and heat sealed seams to insure a crystal clear pool next spring.
The PureLine K2 cover comes with loops every four feet to secure water bags and corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. The cover is 5 feet longer and wider than the pool size and it is backed by a 15 year warranty (2 years full rated).

Is this cover water proof if there are no tears? Is it possible to pump out the water on top without losing the water underneath?

Hello Jay. The Pureline Winter Pool Cover PL8964 does not allow water to pass through the cover material. The use of a Cover Pump provides the means for water removal without affecting the water level underneath. Attached please find a listing of various Cover Pump sizes. Cover pump
