What is Booster used for and how often do you need to use it?

Hello Julesss, The Boost Button increases output to 100%. Use this feature when a heavier than normal bather load is anticipated.

Yes, this is the complete unit to get you up and running, besides the salt of course. I suggest reading this how-to guide as well: How To Start Up a Salt Water Pool

hi, does the purifier % automatically adjust itself to keep proper chlorine levels or do you adjust it manually?
 Reply

Scott, the  AutoPilot Digital Nano Plus Salt Chlorine Generator 220V, does not automatically adjust the chlorine settings. You will have to manually adjust the production rate based on need.

Hi, What is a ball park range the percentage should be?... the pool is @ 17,000 gallons

We suggest starting the system at 50% and then test your chlorine levels after 1-2 days and adjust the percentage up or down until you can continually maintain 3 PPM of chlorine. This normally takes about 3-5 days of adjusting the chlorine output and testing and re-testing before you get it completely dialed in. After you complete this process, you should be set up on the correct output setting on the system and you will no longer need to adjust.
