Hello Jane. The Air Release Assemble 647304172 attaches to the Center Pipe and Hub Assembly internal to the Sand Filter. Attached please find an exploded parts diagram for the Blue Wave Sandman and Pooline Sand Filters. The diagrams will assist in identifying the location of the Air Release Assembly.
