What is the difference between Blu and the other Navigator type cleaners?

Hello Greg - The Blucon is the same cleaner as the older Navigator. The only difference is the total hose length. The Blucon comes with 32' of hose and the Navigator came with 40'.

My pool has the pop up heads for cleaning...they are not getting my pool clean, some pop up heads are not working. Can I use the Hayward in place of what I have now. Will it connect to the skimmer?

Yes you could use the Hayward Blue Cleaner in place of the in floor pop up heads and yes the cleaner just plugs into the skimmer. If you had the pop up heads in the up position when you ran the cleaner then the cleaner would get stuck on the pop up heads, so you would not want to run both systems at the same time.

Does it get stuck, we have a step at the deep end and the barracuda gets stuck there

i have a roman style shape at deep end of pool. all previous cleaners have stuck at this deep end and my stairs. will this cleaner also get stuck as my others? i have used baracuda, shark and great white as well as cheaper cleaners. very frustrating. thank you for your input.

Saw this cleaner at a great price on sale. Knew nothing at all about them but wanted to give hubby a break. Bought him this cleaner for Christmas. Had great instructions which really helped. Once we got it going we were ecstatic. Does an amazing job. Now hubby puts it in the pool and we just head out doing our errands while the pool is cleaned!

Replaced Hayward Navigator Cleaner (no longer available) with an almost exact newer model, the Hayward Blu Cleaner. VERY happy - the old style worked so well, I just couldn't see going any other way than a similar product!

Since my old cleaner wouldn’t climb the pool wall it didn’t clean the tanning deck in my pool which is only 16” deep so I installed my new Hayward Blu cleaner and it now cleans this shallow area as well as the rest of the pool and at half the price of my old cleaner.

My old Hayward cleaner was no longer moving around the pool I checked replacing the parts on it but with the good price offered plus free shipping I decided that order the Blu is ncround suction pool cleaner. Hooked it up and now my pool is crystal clear. Thanks INYO Pool!

1. Took off hose.
2. Replaced old hose...made certain to fill hose with water before connecting to side wall outlet.
3. Simply connected hose to navigator. In beginning cleaner had air inside so I had to hold under water to allow air to escape.
4. Adjusted movement of unit with water dials neat to pump.

I bought this Hayward Blu vacuum to replace my original Hayward Navigator, which was over 9 years old and wasn't working very well. The new Hayward Blu vacuum works great , and with the included hoses and the price , It was an exceptional bargain!! Thanks INYO Pools .

Very good deal, it came with plenty of hoses. If I bought the hoses alone I would have spent a lot of money on them. Now I have plenty of hoses in my shed.

This machine makes cleaning pool so much easier. Easy to assemble hoses just insert it to vacuum and watch it work. Climbs walls, keeps bottom of pool clean
