Does this drain assembly have a solid plate, rather than the grille?
or alternatively, do you have a solid plate/cover that would fit this drain?
Sometimes, its just handy to block the drain, as opposed to having the grille and allowing the water to run out.

Hello David, unfortunately, this drain grate series does not carry a cover to stop water flow through them.
