Yes, the CX580XRE is indeed the same filter replacement as the CX570XRE. CX580XRE is simply the new part number provided by Hayward.

Hello Kathy, I am not able to locate a filter model based on the information you provided. You can respond to this email with additional information of your FILTER housing make and model. This information is typically located on a sticker or label on the outside of the filter. You may also include the CARTRIDGE information which is normally stamped into the rubber top or bottom of the cartridge. If you like, you may also include photos of the FILTER housing. Thank you!

Can this cartridge be powerwashed using a relatively low power unit and what would be an average useful lifespan of these cartridges?

We really would not suggest using a power washer, possibly on the lowest setting but you are still risking damaging the cartridges. The Filter Flosser Cartridge Cleaning Tool is what I use and it makes the cleaning process very easy. Normally on the 4 cartridge filter systems we see 3-5 years on the cartridges.

We have model number C7020STAMN. Filters are listed as CX590REM on the label. About three years ago, the person who was taking care of our pool replaced our old system with this model. He told us it was barely used, and we paid about $700 for it. Our current person has cleaned the filters every six months. He now says they are worn and need replacements (all 8 of them). Do you carry these filters and if not, where can I get them. How much to they cost for all 8 together? Thank you

There are four cartridges in that filter and are $155.99 each for the Hayward OEM cartridges.
