Can the steering cams be interchanged between the 4x and 2x?

Yes you can change the cams. For instance if you have a 4 Wheel Unit and it is in a small pool and you want it to turn more then the 2 Wheel cam will make the 4 Wheel turn more. Likewise if you have a 2 Wheel unit and you want it to turn less then if you replace the cam with a 4 Wheel cam it will have more straight run.

This is the best pool sweep I have come across in 15 years . It out preforms the Navigator by far . With multiple turning and reverse function it covers the complete pool and dose not get stuck on lights or drain covers.It is not parts or labor intensive and keep working . The design makes it easy to disasemble and work on if it was needed .

I have used it 2 times so far, works great. my old aquabug quit walking, and would hang up on ripples on the bottom of my 24' above ground pool. this one crawls over wrinkles, no problem. inyo had the best price, fast shipping, a+ deal.

Bought this as a replacement for the Hayward Ultra Vac (orig $425); needed $180 in replacement parts after about 30 months. Also the replacement wings for UltraVac are about $20 every 5 months or so. Neighbor suggested that he had Tracker that last about 7yrs; does need wheel replacements about every 12-14 months. After about 12 hours of research, chose the Tracker. Neighbor recommendation and price, could not go wrong. Installed about 5 weeks ago. Cleaned pool within a day. Pool was dirty due to no cleaner for about 4 weeks in December '09. It picks up leaves without getting clogged. Perfect for Texas size 15,000 gal or so gunite play pool. So far no complaints. Wife wishes wheels were different color, but pool is clean and she is happy. Other Tracker model with 4-wheels does have blue wheels.

Great cleaner picks up most leaves ect and cleans all of pool without getting stuck in corners. has only got jammed once in 12 months with large seed pod, picks up things you think it can't tyres seem to have worn quicker than expected on pebble create surface.

Just splashed the tracker 2X this morning and so far it is reacting just as you said it would. We are really happy and glad we don't have to go to the pool every so ofter and yank the hose as our prior cleaner would get stuck.

I recommend this product as a great alternative to similar higher priced products that I saw in my searches. My vinyl pool was crimping up in some areas and my previous 2 pool cleaners didn't have wheels and would get stuck. This thing rocks, really. I am very happy and glad I bought it. Inyo pools had the best price by over $100.

Over the years have seen and used most of the cleaners that are being marketed. The Tracker 2 is the best in serivce and easy to repair. I have nine units that work 24/7 and not one complaint. This is the only cleaner I will use. So do not waste time or money on other units.
