can you acid wash this filter

You shouldn't ever acid wash a cartridge filter. It damages the cartridge to the point that it won't stop the fine debris that makes a pool have that clear look. I don't recommend acid washing any part of your pool. Depending on what you're acid washing, if you do it wrong it could end up being a pricey repair. I recommend any alternative options in cleaning all aspects of your pool.
