UWF Quick Disconnect (380/280/180)
The piece that broke on our fitting is the fitting that goes inside. We need the piece that fits inside the round circle on the disconnect.
The hose barb end of my UWF Quick Disconnect broke off in the hose.
I just bought a new one(genuine part) at a dealer.
I can get the new hose barb into the hose, however, once it is in the hose the outside diameter of the hose increase and I cannot get the nut to fit over it.
Is there a trick to doing this or are there different diameter size hose barbs on the Quick Disconnect.
Hi, Craig. They're not different size barb. You might be installing the nut from the wrong side, it does not go over the barb to the barb.
This part connects to a fitting that screws into the pool wall? Is that fitting included with the UWF quick disconnect? If not do you have that part?
portion of quick connect broke off at end of the connecting tube. Can't get it to
release from the hose so i can insert tip of quick connect into the opening hole
in quick connect? any suggestions
Hi, If the tip of the UWF Quick Disconnect (380/280/180) broke off into the hose, you can cut that piece off and replace the UWF Quick Disconnect (380/280/180).
I bought a uwf disconnect 9-100-9001, and included in the bag was a red and blue disc, or maybe orfice plate.. what is purpose of the red and blue discs? and where do they fit? There was no instructions included with the part.
Robert, The red and blue parts that comes with the UWF are restrictor disk. They can be used to limit the amount of water flow that's going to the cleaner. The restrictor disk snaps on behind the wall fitting.

Pros: Quick Delivery and great product
Great value and quick delivery. It took 5 minutes to connect and worked perfect. Keep your old one because you will need the top part of old one to use. Simply unscrew from old and place on new. Easy but not if that part is in trash.
