This unit would need to be piped using the unions that come in the packaging and will need to be piped into your equipment after the pump since as it does not have it's own pump.
I have a Raypak 206A Natural gas and would like to convert it to LP is there a kit and or individual parts I can purchase to make the switch? I know defiantly orifices but am unclear if the gas valve needs replacing. Thanks
Hi, Roger. If you have the MilliVolt (MV) unit, the NG to LP Conversion Kit is Part # 004690B. If you have the Electronic (IID) unit, you will have to replace the entire Burner Tray Assembly which is Part # 010411F. If you can provide the complete model # of your unit I can confirm what you'll need.

Hello. I will provide you with a few suggestions you can research. Hayward A/G Pool Heater 100000 BTU NG ELE MODEL# H100ID1 at page ww.inyopools.com/Products/02200459000638.htm?Keywords=h100id1 Next would be for the Propane option Hayward A/G Pool Heater 100000 BTU LP MODEL# H100IDP1 at page http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200458000639.htm?Keywords=h100idp1 I would also recommend using a solar blanket so you do not loose heat during times of evaporation. Please review the 28' Round Clear Pool Solar Blanket MODEL# NS488 at Page http://www.inyopools.com/Products/00100001005484.htm You would need to cut the blanket to fit 3-4" less than the actual size of your pool. In your case, the pool is 25' round and we do not offer one that size.

What is the difference between an Electronic and Millivolt ignition?
The basic answer is that Millivolt is the old style of ignition, using a standing pilot light. While the electronic ignition uses a spark start system like a gas grill. Electronic ignitions are more efficient in gas usage and also are better suited for high wind areas where a pilot light might get extinguished.
Will a gas heater operate at the low speed of a dual speed motor?
Probably not - Most gas heater will shut off at low GPM levels (20-40) to keep the heater cores from overheating - 20 for 200 BTUs, 40 for 400 BTUs. Depending on your pool system you might get these GPM levels at the low speed but generally these heaters must be run at the motor's high speed.
What are the dimmensions of this heater?
This heater is 20 inches wide X 28 inches deep and 40 inches tall.
