I have a 13,000 gallon in ground pool. I'm replacing my single speed pump with a variable. At the same time I'm thinking about replacing my sand filter with a cartridge filter. The equipment is under a deck and I only have 56 inches of vertical clearance form the ground to the deck. Is this a good choice for me?

Hi Mike, Yes I think this would be good for you. My main concern was the clearance, having enough room to remove the lid over the cartridge and removing the cartridge. I have attached the dimensions of the filter and the cartridge measures about 19 inches tall, from math you should have enough clearance. As far as filtering performance for your pool set up this would be a great filter.
