Is the chassis pad for the sand shark 7900 available seperately without the chassis?

Hi, The SandShark pad is only available with the Chassis Assembly (41201-0242W), it is not available separately.

Hi I have the original Kreepy Krauly wich is about 25 years old will I have to modify any thing or just simply add the new one to the existing hose

Hello Vic- The new cleaner will come with its own hoses. You will need to simply remove the Kreepy Krauly® SandShark™ cleaner from the box, attach the hose, and place it in the pool. No modifications necessary, but you may need to adjust the suction for optimal performance.

So far this is a good cleaner. I've been using it every day for two weeks eight hours a day. Living in Fl. we have wind, sand and leaves blowing almost every day. The sand shark has done a wonderful job. I have an inground pool wich is not smooth like above ground or fiberglass pools. I have not seen any wear on the bottom of this cleaner which I was concerned about. I haven't seen any areas where it gets stuck in one spot. I'm glad it dosen't have screws holding it togather like the Great white 9500 which I had three of and from the looks of the Sand Shark I wish it would have been around before the Great White. INYOpools had the best price for this cleaner and shipping was fast as usual. I would recommend this cleaner and company to anyone.

Cons: Its is very slow. It sticks in the corners.
I had the previous model (Swim-vac from Sta-rite) during many years of good service. The first lasted 7-8 years. The second lasted 6-7 years. Then I bought the third. They changed the desig a little, and the product name to PoolShark. But the performance is not good. It is slow, very slow when compared to previous model. I would not buy again.

Cons: Heavy, slow, does not get rid of corners, bad quality materials.
This is my third cleaner of similar type. The first and second ones (Vaccum-swimm and Pool-shark) last about 7 years. This newer model (SandShark) has lower quality and worse performance. I have the same pool and same pump, but the newer model is slow and sticks on the wall and corners. Besides, the quality of plastics and rubbers is poorer than the old model. Moreover, this model is very heavy, maybe this is one of the reasons for it be so slow.

I highly recommend the sandshark pool cleaner. With easy and informative instructions, the cleaner worked well from the very beginning. I now only need to let it do its thing for an hour or so and come back to a perfectly clean pool. I can't wait until next season to begin again.

The Sand Shark cleans very well but has a tendancy to get stuck around the stairs and along the top ledge requires alot of re-direction to actually clean the whole pool surface.

Sand Shark has great suction and does a great cleaning job. Shortening the hose length helps to keep the head from getting stuck in the corners and around the bottom step. It usually rights itself withih a minute or two, but does require some adjustments.
