Part # SAVINOTE100
SaVi Notes are a niche less underwater LED lighting system for pools and spas. The SaVi Notes fit into the standard wall fitting of a pool for easy design and installation. They are ETL approved for mounting 4” below water level, which makes them ideal for swim-outs, beach entries, sun shelves and other shallow water applications, as well as general pool illumination. Create a variety of effects and a myriad of colors with these small but powerful lights. Their compact design makes them ideal for retro-fitting Fiber Optic systems. *SaVi Note comes with 100 feet of power cord. A lens key is required for installation of the Savi Note. To purchase the SVLKEY2 lens key, please click here.
Please Note: The SaVi Notes require the separate purchase of the M4 LED Controller which, is used to control the color changing ability of the lights. One M4 can control up to four (4) SaVi Notes. To see the M4 Controllers, please click here.
Gday all, I have a customer who has 4 x Savi Note 100 LED lights installed in their pool in Brisbane QL Aust. The system runs a CompuPool 12vAC R/C module which confuses me because the lights are actually marked as 12v DC. I have spoken to CompuPool here in Aust, but they no longer stock these units. Are you guys able to shed any light on this and if so, can I purchase these lights from you guys and ship to Australia? Thanks heaps for your help. Tim.
Hi, Tim. These SaVi Note LED Light can be purchased and shipped to Australia. It requires the M4DMX Controller which is sold separately. These light are 14 Watts 12V.
I need to replace 2007 made Savi note. Back then they were made as a 1 piece sealed unit. Meaning the dome lens is not removable. Also important is the length. Mine, from threads to where electric cord enters unit is 5 1/2". Or from front of dome to end of black cap (before electric cord starts) is 6 1/4". Do you have this! Please HELP?
Hi, This Savi Note will replace the one you have and fit into your existing wall fitting.
Is there a video to show how to replace a burned out light? I have one real weak and it is putting out only one color red. I am not sure how to replace it.
Hi Don attaced is the Manual to this lights which will include INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
I have Savi Note (2) lights in my 12 X 25 fiber glass in ground pool . The Question I have, is it required to replace the cord to replace the light or does a new light have a way to unscrew the cord and reattach to a new light to replace one that is burned out. these lights are 5 years old but haven't been used much. One is real weak.
Don, Unfortunately you would have to replace the entire light and cord if you are changing out the SAVINOTE100.
Do Savi Notes work in salt water pools?
Hello JT - The Savi Notes will work in a salt water pool.
Can the Savinote 100 light use a photocell to turn it off during daylight hours?
According to the manufacturer, a photocell can be used but must be installed so that it breaks the voltage to the M4 LED controller, not between the M4 and the SaviNote100.
Can I put a SaVi LED Light into an existing return jet. How does that work.
It doesn't. These lights are not intended to work with existing return jets in your water lines. They use a wall fitting very similar to the return jet which has piping behind it to take wire up to a transformer. This is something you do when installing your pool.
What is the Lens Key used for?
The Lens Key fits into slots in the front ring of the light and enables you to screw the light into the wall fitting.
Is the savi note dimmable? Can the savi note been used in the bottom of a pool 4ft deep shooting up on the floor?
The SAVI NOTES are not dimmable. You can put these in the floor of the pool but keep in mind that you need 10 inches of straight 1.5" pipe going into the back of the wall fitting to accomodate for the note. After the 10 inches of straight pipe you can use a 90 or whatever fittings you need at that point. The same applies if you are installing in the wall of the pool. I have a Fiberstars system with 1 spa light and 2 pool lights which I want to replace and have several questions regarding the SAVINOTES. What is the luminosity rating for these LED lights? What’s the difference between the two M4 controllers? What’s the construction on the controller, plastic or metal? Galvanized or steel? Is there a lower wattage SAVINOTE for my attached spa? What is the expected lifetime for the LED heads? Can I replace the Head only and not the entire power cord?
This product is designed for exactly for your situation, customer's who are replacing fiber optic systems, this product is any easy retrofit using your existing fiber optic wall fittings. You will want to keep in consideration that you will need at least 8 to 12 inches of 1.5" pipe behind your lens to accomodate the SAVINOTE. Pros: Easy to use, lots of options
We used these lights in a rock/waterfall feature overflowing into our pool. The lights were easy to install, worked great and put on a beautiful light show. We started out with 2 lights and liked them so much we bought 2 more to complete the look.
