Part # SV150T6
The illuminator houses the lamp which is the light source for all fiber optic lighting. Since fiber optic strands do not generate but only carry light, all fiber optic lighting requires an illuminator. The Super Vision 6-Color Illuminator provides six different light colors: white, hot pink, peach, green, light blue and dark blue. It has a fiber optic strand capacity of 550 strands which can be upgraded to 756 strands with the purchase of an upgrade kit (sold separately). The illuminator is made of UV stabilized material that is water, corrosion and chemical resistant. Its taupe color blends easily with the environment.

I have a Supervisiion Series 25 T that I need to replace? What are my best options moving forward.
Hi, Bobby. You can use one of these Illuminators as a replacement.
Do you carry or know where I can purchase a super vision illuminator SV150T(6) "COLOR WHEEL." Mine has broken glass. The system works perfectly just need to put some color into my life!
Hi, Dean. Unfortunately, that part has been discontinued without an alternate replacement.
I have a Super Vision 6-Color Illuminator - SV150T6, recently the unit stopped operating I think it was due to the fan that stopped and the lamp failed. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot the system to eliminate having to order several parts that I may not need. Or is there a replacement unit where I can still use the fiber cables and not have to replace them.
Hello I have a 12 year old Super Vision 6-Color - SV150T6 that stopped working a few years ago. I’m going to start a re-finishing of my Inground fiberglass pool and want to upgrade to a new LED light system, Are there any upgrade recommendations? I don’t think I want fiberoptics anymore.
Hi, Apopka JJ. You can use the PT-6000 Lighting Kit if you have underwater fiber optic lights.
I have have the Supervision International SV150T tower. I need the bulb replaced. ( Part# 40-GA) Can I get a bulb and if so , where?
Hi, John. We do carry the SuperVision Replacement Lamp - 40-0001. You can purchase it through our website or you can call our office at 877-372-6038 or 407-834-2200.
We have SV150T6 and are not able to locate a replacement. Is a replacement available? Thank you.
Hi. The Fiberstar Illuminator can be used as a replacement for the SV150T6 unit.
just replaced bulb on supervision. unit comes on but light does not. Could this be an issue other then the bulb? Capacitor?
Hi Joey, It's hard to say what could be wrong with the unit. You can review the SV150T6 Installation Manual for troubleshooting steps.
I have an old (circa 2003) Supervision fiber optic light. It is a black painted steel box with two toggle switches. The fiber looks to be in good shape, but the ends need cleaning or polishing. The bulb burned out and when opening it, it fell apart due to heavy rust. What can I get to replace it that will work with the existing fiber and what can I do to clean the fiber end?
Hi Rob, I would suggest SV150T6 illuminator as a replacement for your old Supervision fiber optic light tower. There is a good video here Showing How to Clean and Polish Fiber Optic Pool Cable.
Based on the few pictures I could find online, I think I have a SV250H illuminator. Mine is so rusted I can't find any name or model number on it. What model will replace it and is there anyone in the Orlando area that you could recommend to do the work. Thanks
Hi Tyson, I would suggest the ION LED Fiber Optic Illuminator this is a great unit which is very bright, economical to operate and has a very long lamp life. For installation I would contact Visual Aquatics in Orlando they are great, let them know INYO sent you, here is there contact information http://www.visualaquatics.com/contact.html
I have a Fiberstar 6004, basically, its 10 years old and needs replaced completely do to rust, and other problems with the wheel and remote. Is there a replacement that will work, the fiber optic part goes into the ground in a tube, and stops at the small lens glass in the pool about 4 inches under the water. Is there any model with a remote that would replace this set up. I need the remote because all this is mounted on a slab out side a screen room. Thanks for your help.
looking for a supervision SV150T6 to replace the one I have which is totally broken. I understand these are discontinued. do you know where I can get one, or something similar. I live in Canada
Hi Dave, this Illuminator is still available and has not been discontinued. So you may purchase the supervision fiber-optic illuminator directly through this page.
I currently have an SV25TH that needs replacement. Will this unit work with the existing cable, which is fine?
I spoke to the tech help at Savi Pool and Spa ( they are part of Zodiac 407.855.5630 ) and was told that the SV150T6 will replace your older SV25TH. The major difference will be that the new system will be brighter.
My unit has a tag on it that reads Super Vision SV150T. I have 3 24" waterfall lines as well as the perimeter line going into it. Will this unit replace mine with no upgrades?
Art, As long as the unit you have is a stand alone unit (not a synced version), you can replace it with the SV150T6. Please note that this unit can accept up to 550 strands of fiber.
The model I have is a SV150T. Will this one work for me?
Hello Jim - The SV150T6 will work for you as long as you do not have multiple illuminators that have to sync together. The SV150T6 is for single illuminator systems.
We are building a wall close to the pool and thinking of a waterfall. Where does everything go? Can the pool pump be used instead of a dedicated pump? How far can the illuminator be from the waterfall? How far from the wall to where the water hits the pool? In other words, how close does the waterfall have to be to the pool?
The illuminator and pump can be placed where your exisiting pool pump and filter is located. The further the distance away from your pool, the more more fiber and a higher HP pump you will need. We recommend purchasing an additional pump for a waterfall. If you use the same pump, the waterfall will take away from the existing water circulation and your pool will not be properly filtered. For the basics on how it all works, please visit our Fiber Optic Waterfall Guide: http://www.inyopools.com/fiber_optics_waterfalls.aspx
Can I use Super Vision Fiber optic cable with a Fiberstars illuminator?
Both companies' cable will work with either the Fiberstars or Super Vision illuminator. You will need to make sure that you have the proper perimeter track in your pool to accommodate the appropriate cable.
