I have heard this can't be used with intex-style pools. Can you explain specifically what the issue is? Does it have to rest on a pool rail? Does it not have a wide enough gap? Is it because the top rail moves? What is the actual reason. Because mathematically, it fits. It SHOULD work.

JD, An Intex pool does not have top rails for the step "bridge" to rest on. It will collapse if installed on an Intex pool.
