Product Description

The Aqua Pro is one of INYO Pool Products most popular heat pumps because it combines all the features our customers have asked for, all at an unbelievable price! These features include Titanium Heat Exchanger, Scroll Compressor, Digital Controls and a warranty that will not be voided due to improper pool water chemistry.
Aqua Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pump 109000 BTU
The Scroll Compressor allows the Aqua Pro to operate very quietly even at lower temperatures and has a much higher COP rating than older piston style compressors, the higher COP rating means lower operational costs. We highly recommend using a solar blanket when using any Heat Pump to cut down your operational costs by up to 40% more. Click Here for a full line of Solar Blankets and Reels.

- This warranty will not be voided due to pool water chemistry
- 100% commercially pure titanium used in all heat exchangers, for superior resistance to erosion, cavitation and impingement attack
- Titanium to copper connections that eliminate corrosion due to dissimilar metals
- Titanium thermowell used to protect the temperature sensor

Other Features:

- 7-year Parts and  2-year Labor warranty. Lifetime Warranty on the Titanium Heat Exchanger
- Dual electronic temperature controller with LED readout and diagnostic codes for troubleshooting

Can this heater be installed after the pump, after the filter and after the salt chlorine generator, then back to pool and still operate correctly and not damage the heat pump??

Robert, In short, yes it can. I would strongly recommend installing a check valve in between the salt cell and the heat pump to prevent backflow into the heater when the pump is turned off.

How many BTU's do you need to heat an in ground swimming pool 28,000 gallons?

1. Figure the surface area of a typical rectangular residential pool by multiplying the length in feet times the width in feet. 2. Consult an online weather data service to find the average temperature of the coldest month the pool will be used (see Resources). These figures are commonly available by zip code. Subtract that temperature from the desired temperature between 78 to 82 degrees to arrive at the temperature rise. 3. Multiply the surface area of the pool by the temperature rise. Multiply that result by 12 to arrive at the required Btu-per-hour output of the heater. This figure represents the heater output necessary to heat the pool to the desired temperature in 24 hours, based on an average wind velocity of 3.5 mph. 4. Compensate for greater heat loss in windy locations by multiplying the required Btu/hour by 1.25 for areas with an average wind velocity of 5 mph, or by 2 for regions with an average wind velocity of 10 mph, such as coastal areas.
