Dan,Based off the part number you provided of the lid (KP1008), this is the correct basket that will fit that lid.

We tried to get a new one from two local pool companies, and they did not have the size we needed, so I googled Kafko replacement parts, and this site came up. It is an exact match, so we don't now have to worry about debris getting in our sand filter.

We are very happy with this new basket, which is replacing our old, over 20 year old, basket. We are very happy to find still a perfectly fitting replacement, which is rare these days. Soon we also want to order the new lid to the system. Thanks.
