My drain sits about 1" above the floor of the pool and is about 8" in diameter. Will this leaf basket sit over that?

Hello. I called Pentair Tech Support ( 800-831-7133 ) and was told the items was older than they had specs for. I called a vendor who , at times, has them and was told that the box the item is in is 28.5" square and 5" high. The weight is about 5-7 lbs. They could not open it for that would affect the re-sale of the item.
