Can you tell me if this filter tank body will replace the Hayward C-1100 Star Clear Filter? Also what size is the pipe 1.5" or 2"? Thanks!

That is the correct replacement tank for the C-1100.  Also, it does have 2" fittings.

Filter Tank had Hairline Crack

Written on 5/8/2018 by Guest

For several weeks, I could not figure out why there was minimal 'back pressure' in the Filter Tank Body. Changed out the lid, put new cartridge filter in - Nothing helped. Closer inspection indicated a hairline crack near the tank-bottom. Using the INYOPools web site, made finding and purchasing the correct Filter Tank Body, very easy. (There was extensive PVC piping to redo, so if you are not proficient with cutting and glue of PVC pipe, get qualified help.) After I re-glued (cemented) in the new piping and Filter Tank Body, the 'back pressure' issue went away and I was off-and-running with a cleaner pool.

Were these instructions helpful?
