Hi, James. Unfortunately, you cannot replace a 250VAC capacitor with a 125VAC capacitor. The BC-88M-250 capacitor matches your specifications besides the dimensions. You can measure the space to confirm if the BC-88M-250 will fit.

Hi, The 88-108 MFD 125V Start Capacitor (BC-86) would be the correct capacitor.

Please note that capacitors store an electric charge and should be handled with the utmost caution and care. We do not encourage handling a capacitor without any type of safety measures in place and highly recommend contacting a professional service company for repair/replacement. For those that feel comfortable changing the capacitor here's  >How to replace a pool pump capacitor. In order to match up the capacitor you will need more specifications on the capacitor. You will need to match the voltage, the MFD, whether or not the capacitor is a >run or >start type and the actual dimensions of the capacitor body.
