Yes, that is definitely an option as long as you have the correct electrical hook up for the Super Pump that you have.

Hi Lora, For safety reasons an extension cord is not recommended to be used with these pump power cord. The cord have to be plugged directly into an outlet or timer.

Where do I connect the ends of the cord?

Hi Tom, The Black (LINE), White (NEUTRAL) and Green (GROUND) wires connects to the motor and the 3 prong end plugs into the wall socket and twist to lock.
