Good Day Ken. I wish I could say there was an easy way to replace the foot flange on a barracuda G3. I have yet to find one, if there is. The way I have done it is to break the cleaner down completely. In the OWNER'S MANUAL, on the last page, it shows the cleaner in pieces. This is the easiest way to remove the foot flange. Putting it back is easier. You re-assemble the cleaner and snap the flange back in at the end.

Hello Sparky, This foot flange will fit the Zodiac Barracuda G3 pool cleaner. You can always send in pictures of the pool cleaner if you would like to verify that the part you are interested in is the correct part. You can email us the photos at: upload@inyopools.com.

Hi, my g3 is old but still kicking. while i have replaced other parts, the common ones, is it ever necessary to replace the foot flange? the reason i ask is that it keeps falling out of the main body. It looks like the one above and i don't see anything worn off of it. This just started happening recently. Yes i have the wide end with the thing that sticks out inserted into the hole made for it. Its the little end with the 1/2" thing that sticks up that won't stay in. thanks.

Hi Ginger, yes it is necessary to replace the foot flange, and the issues you are experiencing is exactly why. Also, the nubs on the foot flange that have contact with the pool surface will wear down. Once the nubs on the flange are considerably worn, then I would recommend replacement.

will this part fit a g2 zodiac barracuda also?

Hello Reta, unfortunately, this is not compatible with the Zodiac G2 cleaner. You would need to get the body assembly manufacturer part number W70465 which we do not carry, unfortunately.
