Hi, Bill. No special tools are required for installing this impeller. You'll just screw it on to the motor shaft in a clockwise rotation until hand tight.

Pros: WORKS FINE ON LOW SPEED
Cons: INTERNALL THREADS DAMAGE (STRIP) EASY
Impeller works as it should. The issue is when my pump runs at the high speed the threads inside the impeller spin. Then once this happens it has to be replaced. I have already replaced twice. The threads on the impeller have not held up for me. This is the original part as well.
