Replacement diaphragm used in the Zodiac Baracuda G3, G4 and Zoom suction automatic pool cleaners. The W81600 diaphragm retaining ring is sold separately.
I wanted to make sure this fits a Barracuda 2500. It looks exactly like the one I need. Is this the correct replacement part for the 2500?

After disconnecting the cleaner for the hoses you need to unthread the cassette, then the cassette chamber, and then push the inner extension pipe through the base of the cleaner. Now all that you have is the inner extension pipe and the diaphragm held on by the retainer ring. Remove the retainer ring and the diaphragm can be taken right off. Replace and re assemble.

I have a zodiac barracuda G3 pro. What is correct part no. For diaphragm. It is 2 years old. Looks like there is a split in diaphragm

have had the Barracuda G4---excellent cleaner--have replaced no parts for 2 1/2 yrs--finally it started slowing down--bought this part and replaced(took 2 min) and runs like new!!!!!!! much better than Kreepy Krauly(i had 3 of them)

Pros: Exactly like original part. Easy to replace.
It is the exact part as the original equipment,which gave me 4yrs of service. It remains to be seen if this replacement lasts as long, but it should.

I buy two of these diaphrams each year. Except for extreme debris the Barracuda with a new diaphragm does a wonderful job of keeping the bottom of the pool clear of leaves and other debris.
