O ring....part no. 31........ Is it supposed to fit snugg or loose?

Hi Richard, All o-rings are suppose to fit snug, a loose fitting o-ring can cause the tank tp leak or not close.

I bought O ring 152038 for my sand filter model # pf50 It is about a 1/2 inch or so too short. Is there any way to stretch it ? I tried pulling on it and soaking it in hot water. Nothing seems to work. Any feed back would be appreciated Thank You.

According to the mfg specs the 90-423-2070 should be correct, the alt that is listed is actually listed as 21-3/4" (90-423-1185 )
