doers it come with a new gasket?

Hello. The Widemouth Face Plate SPX1085B does not come with a replacement gasket. The replacement wide mouth gasket part number is 4040-17A. Replacement Skimmer Gasket Used On SP1085 Series Skim-Master Wide Mouth (Single) - G-157

1) Lower the water level in your pool below the level of the skimmer.
2) Use an appropriate sized Phillips screwdriver or bit in your cordless nut driver to remove the screws holding the face plate on.
3) remove the old place plate and gaskets.
4) Install new gaskets and face plate. Start a couple of the screws by hand to hold the face plate in place.
5) Install the rest of the screws and tighten. Be careful if you using a cordless nut driver and put it on the lowest torque setting. This way you won't strip out the plastic the screws are going into.
6) Enjoy your new shiny white face plate!

Saved me money ordering from here,had to redo my liner in my 16x32 inground pool and had to replace all the gaskets and face plates,this website made it easy to find all the parts I needed. Thanks,but I do wish they sold this and the cover plate together(the plate that covers the screw holes)
