Plug for pool pump body.
I have a pump from 1977 that is all bronze. The plug appears to be gone and water is leaking causing me to not get primed. I can't see the hole very well but it appears to have external threading which would mean using a cap or cover instead of a plug. Is that correct? Maybe I'm just seeing things. Would a pipe plug 1/4" NPT work? (WC78-40T)

Hi Greg, That is correct if the drain port on your pump has external threads you will need a cap instead of a plug. This plug will not work if the port does not have internal threads.
