This tie rod replacement is designed to use with Hayward Star-Clear cartridge filter models C750, C100. Weighs 2 pounds.
After clean the filter, tighten locking knob for the filter head. Filter head didn't go straight down then continue tighten it and then start noise make.
I can tight up all the way to down but very hard . What are wrong parts Shaft or Knob or others ? Please advise

Hello, We recommend double checking if the o-ring and the cartridge are in the right spot. If they are not seated properly, it can cause this problem.
