I ordered this gasket seperate and also ordered Go Kit, My question is where does this gasket go I got a o-ring gasket in go-kit that goes around the phillips screw in impeller, Is this gasket the same as the one in go-kit? it is a fatter rubber gasket but would fit. Please help me and be specific about where this gasket is positioned and if it is same as go-kit gasket. This is for a WF-28 Pentair Pump. Thank You.

Hello James. The Pentair Impeller Washer Gasket (075713) is identified on the Pentair Whisperflo exploded parts diagram as the gasket that is installed in conjunction with the Impeller Screw. Please see attached, Item Key 15 Pentair / Purex Whisperflo WF, WFE, and WFDS Series The Impeller Screw o-ring provided in the GOKIT32 serves the identical function. The o-ring provided in the GOKIT32 is more commonly used than the washer/gasket 075713 when installing the Impeller Screw.

Cons: hard to remove old part
Pump would not prime...don't forget this little washer
