Hi Steve, This Zinc Anode Weight are designed to stop metal erosion, and plaster discoloration due to galvanic corrosion. It bolts permanently inside or outside any skimmer basket. There is no warranty and they are expected to last 4-5 years depending on how fast they corrode.

Hi, I have a above ground 27', do i use more then one? Is this product just as good as part# 25810-150-000? Please advise

How come this product does not need to be electrically bonded, but a zinc sacrificial anode that goes on the pipe line must be bonded?

Hi. This product only acts as a sacrificial anode unlike the other which will provide you with the benefits water bonding and a sacrificial anode.
