If the flow switch is bad then the no flow alert light or code will be displayed. It could be the main pcb board or the cell if it's been over used. Especially if its a one year cell. In any regard, it is in your best interest to have a local retailer test the cell and then if need be to touch base with Hayward technical support to walk you through a few steps to diagnose the issue. Here is their contact number (866) 772-2100.

Does the Flow Switch GLX-FLO-RP part have it available in generic? What does the T mean. When I look at the part it looks identical to mine but not sure what it means when it says NO T. Want to make sure I'm ordering the right part. Also, does the cable come shorter than 25 feet. Thank you.

Hello Starla, First, we do not have this available in a generic part. Second, The "no tee" refers to the T-shaped pipe fitting the flow switch screws into. This "tee" is not included with this flow switch. Third, Yes, the flow switch does come in a shorter 15' cable. You can click the link here, Goldline / AquaLogic Flow Switch 15' Cable (No Tee) to find it.

I am using a Pro Logic PS-4 with an AQL-CL chlorinator. My display shows "no flow" even though the flow through the chlorinator and over the switch is clearly adequate. I've tried rebooting the controller and resetting the phone jack type connector for the flow switch. I inspected and replaced the switch- it seems too simple a part to fail. Is there a problem with the controller board that I can troubleshoot? Thanks

I am getting a "no flow" message on my controller even tho the flow is adequate. The chlorinator was working properly and there is plenty of flow across the sensor. The part seems too simple to fail and I'm wondering if there's a way to check the control board for a problem. Thx

Hello Rich, I would troubleshoot with Hayward 800-657-2287 to see if a tech can walk you through checking the board to make sure it is functioning properly.
