Our pump stooped working last night. When I unplug and then plug in, the breaker trips. What could be the problem?

There could be a number of reasons that cause this but more than likely if this has been working fine then recently stopped, it'd be the motor itself has gone bad. If you want to rule out other possibilities then check all voltage ensuring there is proper current. Check motor wiring connections then lastly would be the motor itelf has died.

Hi, Pump does not have a life expectancy, it just depends on how the pump is maintained.
